WIGAN DAY OF FOLK'N'VERSE

Our annual all-dayer Big Singaround/Poemaround in the upstairs function room (lift available). Singers, Musicians, Poets, Monologuers and Audience most welcome. New material from Poets and Songwriters particularly welcome.

Free admission.

Food available until early evening.

As usual, this is the lead event for the fortnight-long Leigh & Wigan Words Together Literary Festival, supported by Arts Council England and Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust.

Be warned if you're intending to perform that at our busiest time last year (late afternoon), it was taking about 2 hours to go around the room. So if you want to get in more than one song/poem, please consider coming earlier and/or staying later.
