Treorchy and Pentre Grammar School

Well whatever did happen to Pentre Grammar School, some rumours I've heard say it has be knocked down, others say it's been refurbished as an open prison - not much different there then.

Trying to remember the schoolteachers doesn't bear too much thinking about either-

Maths, I think was Mr Griffiths

Chemistry Mr Thomas ?

Biology Mrs Bebb? 

French - " Ping" and his sister "Pong".

Woodwork - Mr John Floyd - my hero

Others fade into the mists of time - Physics?, English?, History?.

I remember moving onto Treorchy Comprehensive, a cold day in my life; until I realised I'd save a fortune on bus fares if I didn't tell my Mam I'd moved schools.

Fridays nights down the Red Cow, ah what memories. Seeing who could drink the fastest pint, with Dai Fitz.
