I try to keep my temper
When things keep going wrong
And when I hit my thumb a lot
I whistle this little song
It hardly hurts at all
Slipping off a ladder is easy
It's knowing how to fall

I burn myself on the blow lamp
With the hammer I've hit my chin
I've sliced myself upon my saw
And papered myself in
So what I tell my customers
