Adelaide the Alligator

Old Uncle Half a'Mo, he knows everything
When problems troubled Adelaide she always went to him
And she asked him the question that was worrying her head
And Half a'Mo blinked half an eye and this is what he said:

"If you blow a bubble can you catch it in your hand?
If you blow a kiss away where will it land?
And you may see a sunbeam or the twinkle in my eye
But you'll never catch them no matter how hard you try."

Adelaide asked Half a'Mo, "Can you tell me please
I've found this shiny object, can you tell me what it is
And would it taste nice if I bit it, and why is it coloured red?"
Half a'Mo gave half a shrug and this is what he said:

"If you blow a bubble can you catch it in your hand?
If you blow a kiss away where will it land?
And you may see a sunbeam or the twinkle in my eye
But you'll never catch them no matter how hard you try."

Now Half a'Mo told Adelaide "look up and see the sun
And if you look down again you'll see another one".
And Adelaide could  see a face and the teeth inside her head
And Half a'Mo gave half a smile and this is what he said:

"If you blow a bubble can you catch it in your hand?
If you blow a kiss away where will it land?
And you may see a sunbeam or the twinkle in my eye
But you'll never catch them no matter how hard you try."
